LOOK TALLER

First of all, let me begin by saying that being short does not go against the concept of 'beauty' as defined by society. It is absolutely fine to look short. Shorter people are cute, cuddly and come across as lovable and huggable! Good things do come in small packages. However, if you feel you would still like to add a few more inches to your height, don those three-inch stilettos and read on. Monochrome outfits Opt for a single colored outfit. Don't try and pair a blouse with contrast trousers, as once a colour break is introduced it cuts down your height, making you look shorter. A single colour from top to bottom adds to the illusion of height. You could add a second colour to your ensemble by accessorizing it. Wear a scarf around your neck or carry a contrasting handbag. Add still more pizzaz to your monochromatic outfit by contrasting fabrics and textures. Blue denim with a blue satin blouse, brown leather pants with a brown chiffon blouse. Accessories Wear a s

SCENTS AND SENSIBILITY

SCENTS AND SENSIBILITY It is always nice to smell good, and smelling good makes you more attractive. In addition, the knowledge that you smell good makes you more confident and makes you feel better. In fact, perfume ranks highest for its feel-good factor! Read on. Pulse points Perfume should be sprayed on the pulse points. There are five pulse points: the insides of the wrists, the insides of the elbows or the crook of the arms, the insides of the knees, the nape of the neck and just behind the ears. Ideally, don't always spray perfume on the same pulse points every time. If you spray perfume on your wrists for example, spray them on the crook of your arms another time, and on the inside of your knees and the nape of your neck a third time. Though perfume is certainly not proven to harm your skin in any way unless you

Ginger Treatment for Hair

Ginger Treatment for Hair  Ginger is a popular spice from the root of the Zingiber Officinale herb. You're probably familiar with ginger in Christmas cookies and Asian foods, but the root is also used for a multitude of health problems, including nausea, respiratory issues, indigestion and heart health. And that's not all: the strong, stimulating properties of this root make it an excellent hair treatment. * Hair Growth Ginger works to increase scalp circulation. When blood flows to the scalp, it stimulates the hair follicles and encourages growth. The fatty acids in the root are great for thin hair. Use this recipe for hair loss, thinning hair or growing out a bad hair cut. * Grate about 1 tbsp. of ginger root into a small bowl. Add 1 tbsp. of jojoba oil (or olive oil) and mix well. Rub this mixture into your scalp with massaging, circular motions. Leave on your hair for 30 minutes or longer. You should feel a warming effect on your scalp. Shampoo or rinse
